Imaging and Performance

At elevated frame rates, exposure windows shrink, demanding strong lighting and careful flicker management. The camera delivers clean detail with low rolling artifacts, supporting analysis of practical effects (explosions, fluid dynamics) and stylized action beats. Robust color depth ensures imagery grades well alongside A-camera footage.

On-Set Workflow

Crews stage pre-roll and post-trigger buffers so operators “catch” the decisive instant. Data management is heavy; DITs offload to high-speed storage while conform teams track clip IDs meticulously. Shutter angles, sync with lighting, and testing with high-speed-capable fixtures are essential to avoid banding.
