Ángela Molina Tejedor, born on 5th October 1955, is a critically acclaimed Spanish actress having a spectacular career since her debut in 1975. She initially studied dance and theatre art at Escuela Superior de Madrid, later launching herself into the film industry with César Fernández Ardavín's No matarás. One of her most renowned roles is in Black Brood (1977), in which her character Rosa brought to life the portrayal of post-Francoist Spain's fascist violence. She rose to international prominence with Luis Buñuel's That Obscure Object of Desire (1977), further showcasing her diverse acting range.

Over the years, Molina has worked with various esteemed directors including Luis Buñuel, Pedro Almodóvar, Ridley Scott, and more. In 1985, she became first foreign actress to win the Italian cinematic David di Donatello prize for her role in Lina Wertmüller's Camorra. Her excellent performance in Half of Heaven earned her the Best Actress award at the Donostia-San Sebastian International Film Festival in 1987. She has also been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Goya Awards. Furthermore, she served as the Head of the Jury at the 49th Berlin International Film Festival in 1999. Ángela Molina continues to contribute to the film industry, her celebrated career spanning from the 1970s to the present.
