John Abraham: Movies & Box Office

John Abraham, born on 17 December 1972, is an acclaimed Indian actor and film producer primarily known for his work in Hindi cinema. Recognized for his action hero persona, he's a National Film Award recipient and has been nominated for four Filmfare Awards. Abraham's journey in the entertainment industry began as a successful model, transitioning later to acting with the sleeper hit, the erotic thriller Jism, in 2003. He rose to popularity with hit movies like Dhoom, Garam Masala, and Dostana among others, establishing himself as a bankable leading actor. Notable performances include critically acclaimed films like Water, Kabul Express, and New York. Despite facing a series of commercial failures, he rebounded with successful movies like Race 2, Shootout at Wadala, Madras Cafe and others. His highest-grossing releases include Dishoom, Parmanu, and Satyameva Jayate.
