Paap (2003): Cast & Plot

In the tranquil Spiti valley, Kaaya Udita Goswami grows up dreaming of joining a Buddhist monastery, a path her father Mohan Agashe has nurtured since childhood. When Lama Norbu Denzil Smith, a senior lama from the monastery, dreams that the reincarnated monk Rinpoche has returned, he sends Kaaya to Delhi to fetch him back to their monastery. Kaaya manages to retrieve the child, but on the way back, the hotel scene turns grim as the police officer is murdered. The investigation is handed to Shiven John Abraham, who bars Kaaya and the boy from returning home. The boy identifies Raj Mehra Gulshan Grover as the killer, and Shiven quickly finds himself in a web of intrigue and deceit where trust is scarce.
