Sunny, Akshay Kumar, Max, John Abraham, Jolly, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Jai, Shreyas Talpade, are four college friends whose bond runs deep as they navigate fame, family, and fortune. During the college farewell, Max’s girlfriend Sonia (Ushoshi Sengupta) flirts with Sunny, sparking trouble that ends with Sonia falsely accusing Sunny of harassment. A heated confrontation ensues, Max slaps Sunny, and the two men become sworn enemies, drifting apart for ten years. The stage is set for a tangled web of loyalties, pride, and long-held grievances that will pull everyone back into each other’s orbit.
Chintu Kapoor, [Rishi Kapoor], and Dabboo Kapoor, [Randhir Kapoor], are brothers who harbor a fierce hatred for one another despite sharing a cosmetics empire left to them by their father. The estate is split between them, and their rivalry colors every interaction. Chintu’s daughter Henna, [Asin Thottumkal], and Dabboo’s daughter Bobby, [Jacqueline Fernandez], are both sought-after by wealthy suitors, each brother hoping to outdo the other in securing advantageous matches. Sweety (Suparna Marwah) is Chintu’s wife, while Dolly (Neelu Kohli) is Dabboo’s wife, and the families’ enmity only grows deeper.
Aakhri Pasta, [Chunky Pandey], is the most successful marriage counselor in the UK, and both brothers hire him separately to find the best, richest, most in-demand groom for Henna and Bobby. The tension rises when Chintu insultingly addresses Jai’s father, Rajendra (Virendra Saxena), during Henna’s hand-in-marriage meeting, unseen by Jai, who later learns of the insult and the consequences. The feud intensifies as Chintu’s plan to wed Henna to JD’s son collides with Jai’s own ambitions and friendships.
JD, also known as Jagga Daaku and played by Mithun Chakraborty, is a billionaire whose past as a dacoit lingers in the family legend. He’s convinced by his ally, police inspector Batook Patel, to surrender and lead an honest life. JD promises to arrange a marriage between his son Jolly and Batook’s daughter Parul, [Shazahn Padamsee], heightening the stakes for everyone involved. Meanwhile, Jolly, who is also a friend of Jai, becomes entangled in the scheming as JD’s son, and Jolly’s relationship with JLo, [Zareen Khan], a bikini model, adds romantic complexity to the plan. JLo’s fear of her director and her own ambitions further complicate the already tangled web.
With revenge as their motive, Jai and Jolly hatch a plan to infiltrate the opposing house. They hire Max, [John Abraham], to impersonate Jolly and enlist Jai as Max’s driver, slipping into Chintu’s house under false pretenses to win Henna’s hand. Yet fate has other ideas: Max falls for Bobby in the Dabboo residence, and the pair must improvise when they realize they’re in the wrong house. To salvage the ruse, Jai recruits Sunny, [Akshay Kumar], and Jolly, [Ritesh Deshmukh], to pose as a father-and-son duo from JD’s circle, all while keeping their ruse a secret from Chintu and Dabboo. The plan hinges on a fragile balance of deception, wit, and timing, as the couples’ true feelings begin to bloom.
On a cruise arranged for animal-safety duties, Max and Sunny find themselves continuing their impersonation while Henna and Bobby confront their own feelings. A sudden turn of events lands the parties on a remote island, where the pretense threatens to collapse. On the island, Max and Sunny rekindle their friendship after Sunny saves Max from a dangerous fall, and Henna and Bobby clear the air between themselves. Parallel stories unfold as Jai and Jolly remain at the resort with Parul and JLo, complicating the love polygon further and testing every vow and promise.
Back at the family homes, Chintu and Dabboo celebrate the prospect of engaging their daughters, convinced by the elaborate ruse that JD’s family is naturally aligned with their own. Max and Sunny—still posing as Jolly and his driver—play their parts to perfection, fueling the illusion that JD’s family approves of the match. JD’s memory of Jagga Daaku haunts him, while Batook Patel’s concerns about loyalty and trust intensify the drama. The plan teeters on the edge of exposure as Parul and JLo arrive, along with the other brides, to the wedding.
As the wedding day arrives, four brides—Bobby, Henna, JLo, and Parul—appear with their grooms wearing masks and keeping their identities hidden from JD, Chintu, and Dabboo. Batook arrives to challenge the arrangement, threatening to expose the deception. In a dramatic turn, Batook’s interference tests the new-found loyalties of everyone involved. Sunny saves JD from a dangerous fall when a chandelier pivots at the last moment, and the truth about Jolly’s true identity comes to light: Jolly’s real name is Jwala. The revelations force a reckoning, but in the end, forgiveness prevails, and JD, moved by the sincerity of the young couples, forgives the participants and restores harmony to the family.
This sprawling comedy of errors blends romance, mistaken identities, and colorful London-to-Little Britain antics as the four couples navigate their way toward genuine connection. It explores themes of trust, loyalty, and the sometimes ridiculous lengths people go to in the name of love, all while weaving together a cast of larger-than-life characters whose relationships bounce between rivalry and affection, ultimately leading to a hopeful, if chaotic, resolution.
