Guy Edward Pearce, born 5 October 1967, is an acclaimed Australian actor. His illustrious career launched with his portrayal of Mike Young in the Australian television series Neighbours from 1986 until 1989, leading to significant roles in global cinematic pieces. Pearce gained international recognition for his work in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), Curtis Hanson's crime noir L.A.
