A stroll down to Nobbys Beach provides the perfect backdrop for Jeff’s imaginative thoughts about a sequel to Jaws. While capturing the beach’s lively atmosphere with Damian, Andrew, and Gerome, the shocking discovery of a 200-pound blue whale washed ashore, nicknamed Chips, adds an unforeseen element to his film.

As Jeff excitedly captures footage of the whale alongside news reporters, his family retreats to a neighborhood gathering. Here, the tensions between families begin to surface. Melly, much like Jeff, bears emotional scars from a shared childhood accident and feels dread towards the impending party. Observing the lavish spread of food and drinks, Bec suspects that there might be more to this casual get-together than meets the eye.
