In a quiet town, Inder moves there to pursue higher studies, choosing not to bow to his parents’ pressure to marry and settle down. When an opportunity arises, his friends urge him to speak to her, while Pallavi does her best to dodge the conversation. This tense moment doesn’t go unseen, and her brother—and then her two elder brothers—read the situation as if Inder is stalking her, resulting in him being beaten and warned to stay away.
