John Heard
John Heard (1946–2017) was an acclaimed American actor, celebrated for his nuanced and compelling performances. Heard made his mark in the movie industry with performances spanning over four decades, becoming a familiar face both in Hollywood blockbusters and television dramas. He was born on March 7, 1946, in Washington, D.C., United States. Early in his career, Heard focused on stage acting, and his dedication to the craft was recognized with a Theatre World Award and an Obie award. His first major breakthrough in films came with the romantic comedy 'Chilly Scenes of Winter' in 1979.
His career skyrocketed with his role in 'Cutter's Way', followed by a popular performance in 'Cat People'.
