The Insomniac 2013

After the sudden loss of his father, John Figg Eddy Salazar moves back into his Glendale, California childhood home with his loyal dog Timber, his soon-to-be fiancée Martha Collins Clare Grant, and a fresh job promotion from his quirky boss Paul Epstein John Heard.

Two days after settling in, his father’s classic car is stolen. The following day, after a productive meeting with his biggest client, Jairo Torres Danny Trejo, he returns home to a scene of havoc: the house ransacked, his dog Timber missing, and his father’s ashes scattered on the ground.

Convinced another break-in is coming, he resolves to stay awake through the nights, determined to catch the culprit himself.

As the days drag on without sleep, his anxiety blooms into paranoia, then into obsession, and finally into madness.

Thirteen sleepless days later, he is at a breaking point, cutting himself off from friends and loved ones and willing to go to extreme lengths—even murder—to uncover who is behind the crime.
