Fahadh Faasil

Abdul Hameed Mohammed Fahad Fazil, professionally known as Fahadh Faasil or FaFa, is an Indian actor and producer who primarily works in Malayalam and Tamil films. Born on August 8, 1982, in Alappuzha, Kerala, to film director Fazil, Fahadh kickstarted his career at 20 with his father's 2002 romantic film Kaiyethum Doorath. Following a brief intermission of seven years, favoured by the audience for his role in the 2009 anthology Kerala Cafe, Fahadh Faasil soon became one of the most profuse and desirable Malayalam actors. With a collection of accolades including a National Film Award, four Kerala State Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards South, Fahadh's prowess as an actor is unequivocal. Fahadh's reach in the Indian cinema has significantly widened over the years, encompassing roles in thrillers, romantic-dramas, black comedies, adventure dramas and even coming-of-age dramas, making him one of the most versatile actors of his time. He even bravely accepted roles in films that ended up as box office failures yet earned commendations for his portrayals. Fahadh's growing fame and success did not deter him from participating in films made for streaming through OTT platforms, showcasing his devotion toward acting over stardom. Alongside his acting career, Fahadh co-owns the production company Fahadh Faasil and Friends, and a digital entertainment company named Bhavana Studios. Off-screen, Fahadh is married to actress Nazriya Nazim and acts as an endorser for various brands and products and takes part in philanthropy.
