As investigators press the case, the whirlwind of the show barrels forward, and the crowd keeps snapping photos, shouting, and chasing the next headline.

In the thick of it, American television personality [Kitty Potter] threads her way between the designers, grabbing sound bites from the high-fashion world as the runway carries on with glamorous vigor. Her presence keeps the cameras busy, and she becomes a focal point for the week’s chatter, even as the mystery surrounding Olivier’s death lingers in the background.

Two American journalists, [Anne Eisenhower] and [Joe Flynn], find themselves shoved into the same over-booked room. They’re supposed to cover the spectacle for their papers, but the week’s pace leads them to sidestep much of the festivities for a hotel-room tryst, adding a personal storyline to the professional frenzy swirling around them.

Meanwhile, three rival magazine editors from Harper’s Bazaar, British Vogue and Elle pursue [Milo O’Brannigan], a newly influential and provocatively successful photographer who doesn’t shy away from humiliating his suitors. [Sergei], a fading icon, and [Isabella de la Fontaine], Olivier’s widow, attempt to rekindle a romance from long ago. As they seek a private connection, Sergei’s fatigue catches up with him and he quietly falls asleep, underscoring the fragility of nostalgia in a world defined by constant renewal.

As the day’s tensions mount, Fontaine’s former mistress [Simone Lowenthal] pushes a bold protest into the show’s final act. She sends her models down the catwalk nude, a dramatic statement in response to her son [Jack Lowenthal]’s involvement in selling her brand. The moment sends ripples through the crowd, testing boundaries and loyalties alike, and it leaves Kitty reeling, eventually prompting her decision to walk away from the spectacle she helped to mold.

The week culminates in a somber frame: the funeral procession for [Olivier de la Fontaine], signaling an abrupt end to a chapter defined by ambition, artifice, and secrecy.
