Dhanush as Radhakrishnan (Rocky) is a 25-year-old dropout who stands apart in a family that highly values education. His father, Prathap Pothan in the role of Ramakrishnan, looks down on him for straying from the path of schooling. Rocky spends long days in a busy mechanic shop, surrounded by friends who joke about status and marriage. They tease that marrying a well-educated woman would somehow stamp Rocky with a true degree, and this playful pressure becomes the spark for a bold plan: find the right partner and earn respect in a very personal way.

His search leads him into the world of education and wealth when he crosses paths with Gayathri, a well-educated, affluent young woman played by Tamannaah Bhatia. Rocky wins her affection, and their romance takes them to a shopping mall where danger interrupts their moment. A gang under the command of Rami Reddy, a rival to Gayathri’s powerful backer, threatens the couple. The looming threat is connected to the broader underworld, and the confrontation draws in the formidable force of Sayaji Shinde as Rami Reddy. In response, Gayathri’s protector moves to safeguard her, transporting her back from Tamil Nadu to Andhra.

Determined, Rocky turns to Assault Arumugam, a hard-edged operator brought to life by Vivek, to help him navigate the danger and pursue his plan to wed Gayathri. Rocky’s bold moves culminate in a daring rescue of Gayathri from Rami’s clutches, and he follows her home, only to uncover a deeper personal peril: Kasi Anandan, a Tirunelveli-based rowdy whose brother Rocky accidentally killed at the film’s opening, has placed a sizeable bounty on Rocky’s head. The stakes rise as Kasi declares that the only way to silence this threat is a direct, hand-to-hand confrontation.

Rocky accepts Kasi’s challenge, stepping into a bruising duel that tests his nerve, will, and improvised tactics. The fight is brutal and decisive, and Rocky emerges victorious, earning a hard-won vindication. As the dust settles, his loyal gang erupts in applause, marking a dramatic moment of triumph for a man who chose to rewrite his fate rather than live within others’ expectations.
