Doctor in Distress (1963): Cast

The fifth entry in the classic “Doctor” series follows Sir Lancelot Spratt, Simon Sparrow’s former mentor and occasional rival. After injuring his back, the lifelong bachelor falls for his physiotherapist, Iris Marchant, and turns to Simon for help. Simon, now a senior doctor at Hampden Cross and smitten with aspiring actress Delia, sends Lancelot to a health‑clinic, but Lancelot obsessively follows Iris, even hiring a private investigator. When she rejects him and marries an army major, Sir Lancelot’s distress deepens.
