Unlike a traditional screenwriting contest that focuses solely on a finished script as a final product, Stowe emphasizes the creative process. • Writers’ Retreats: These longer, more immersive programs offer a structured environment for writers to make significant progress on their scripts with the ongoing support of mentors and peers.
• Fellowships: Stowe partners with other film organizations and festivals to offer numerous fellowships, which cover the cost of attendance for promising writers from diverse backgrounds.
