Bringing the Post-Production Hub to the Location
A near-set lab is a modern workflow solution that brings the core functions of a traditional data lab directly to the production’s location. Instead of shipping hard drives across a city or country each night to a post-production house, the lab is set up in a dedicated production trailer, a nearby rented office, or even a converted hotel room. This mobile command center is staffed by data managers and dailies colorists and is equipped with powerful computers, high-speed storage, and calibrated monitors.
