Born on April 14th, 1940, Julie Frances Christie is an acclaimed British actress known for her numerous award-winning performances. Christie's accolades include earning an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has a distinguished presence in British cinema, having appeared in six films ranked in the British Film Institute's BFI Top 100 British films of the 20th century. Moreover, in appreciation of her vast contributions to the industry, she received the BAFTA Fellowship for lifetime achievement in 1997.
