Daisuke Namikawa (born April 2, 1976 in Tokyo, Japan) is a prolific Japanese actor, voice actor and singer whose career has spanned over four decades. He began performing as a child in the mid‑1980s and quickly became known for his versatile vocal range, allowing him to portray both heroic protagonists and complex antagonists across numerous anime series, video games and live‑action productions. Notable heroic roles include Mikage in 07‑Ghost, Fai D. Flourite in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Jellal Fernandes and his alternate Mystogan in Fairy Tail, as well as Yu Narukami in Persona 4, establishing him as a go‑to voice for charismatic young leads. Equally compelling are his darker performances such as Ulquiorra Cifer in Bleach, Hisoka Morow in Hunter × Hunter (2011), Kei Kurono in Gantz, and Eustass Kid in One Piece, demonstrating his skill at conveying nuance and menace.
