Brooke Christa Shields is an American actress and model whose career began when she was barely eleven months old, making her first Ivory Soap print for photographer Francesco Scavullo. From that early exposure, she quickly rose to become a cultural touchstone, starring in Louis Malle’s controversial 1978 film Pretty Baby at age eleven, a role that sparked worldwide debate over child exploitation and cemented her status as a media lightning rod.
