The adventure continues as the radio broadcasts reveal another crisis: a stranded ocean liner full of animals in the Zelman Sea, long after poachers abducted them and left them to die. Two aliens, shied away from an earlier invasion in Long Beach, attempt a second assault by disguising themselves as Earth animals to blend in. The gang races to the rescue and manages to fend off the aliens once more. They attempt to tow the ship, tying ropes to the hull, but the doors open and water begins to flood the vessel. Quick Draw McGraw as El Kabong takes a personal shot at rescuing the passengers, but progress remains slow. Bernice discovers a crucial solution: using the Spruce Goose itself as a makeshift bridge and cargo carrier, a capability born of its original wartime design. However, locating the doors proves tricky because the plane’s nose had been altered since its historic flight years earlier. Ultimately, the doors are found and opened, letting the stranded animals board the Goose. The pair succeeds, and the crew grants them a chance to rehabilitate themselves, even as the plans for conquest simmer in the back of their minds.

Back on the Spruce Goose, the two would‑be conquerors stage a show of hospitality—only to reveal a trap in the cargo hold. They imprison the gang and seize control of the plane, setting their sights on a destination long sought: the island of Moolah Moolah. There, the natives worship an idol that resembles the Dread Baron, an idol they call Malagula. Posing as Malagula, the Dread Baron parachutes down to the ground and Para dives into a treasure‑hungry world. While the natives shower him with gold, the rest of the gang manages to break free from the hut and confront the impostor. As the volcano beneath Malagula erupts, the idol is cracked and the locals turn away from their worship, chasing the invaders back toward the plane.

In the midst of the chaos, Merkin and Firkin reappear, flying toward Moolah Moolah in an effort to mount another invasion. The Spruce Goose, now heavily laden with gold, begins to stall under the weight. Realizing they must lighten the ship, the crew pushes the gold outside, a move that complicates the plan for Dread Baron and Mumbly—especially when Mumbly manages to snag the parachute and escape, leaving Dread Baron to follow his own fate. As the Spruce Goose finally climbs back into the air, Mumbly becomes the new leader of the would‑be conquerors, with Dread Baron serving as his loyal sidekick.

The Goose returns to Long Beach, where the dome home awaits. The following day, Yogi and his friends bid farewell to Bernice and her mother. As they drive home, radio reports celebrate the rescues at the South Pole and the Zelman Sea, but the details remain a mystery to most listeners.
