On a holly-filled holiday outing to Jellystone Park, Huckleberry Hound leads a cheerful mix of friends—Hokey Wolf, Snagglepuss, Quick Draw McGraw, Augie Doggie and [Doggie Daddy], and Snooper and Blabber—who drop in to spread Christmas spirit. Their visit takes an unexpected turn when they discover that Yogi Bear and Boo Boo Bear have slipped away from Jellystone and are hiding out in a department store, where Yogi has taken on the role of Santa Claus.
