Baburaj, Ratheesh, an IPS officer, marries Sreedevi and soon after suffers a terrible accident that turns their life upside down.

Sreedevi, Ambika, carries her husband to their quiet Kodaikanal estate to help him recover, hoping the change of scenery will aid his healing. There, she encounters Raghavan, Mohanlal, a steady Malayali driver who gradually becomes a trusted ally in taking care of Baburaj as he regains his strength.

Sreedevi’s life is far from peaceful, as her lecherous uncle Ravi, M G Soman, pesters her with unwanted advances, casting a shadow over the family’s fragile happiness.

As Baburaj recovers, Ayurveda and perseverance reveal a dark thread in the past. From a police diary, he learns that Raghavan is actually Lance Naik Antony Isaac, a man who once aided Babu during his Dehradun training and, in a brutal chapter of his past, murdered his wife after discovering her extramarital relationship. Antony Isaac is an escapee from custody, bearing a death sentence that hangs over his head. This revelation shakes the trust between the households and tightens the emotional gauge of every character involved.

Slowly, the truth deepens: Ashok, Suresh Gopi, is the one who betrayed Antony Isaac by engaging with his wife, tearing open old wounds and setting new flames of vengeance in motion. When Raghavan, through a chance reunion with Ashok, recalls Babu’s real identity, he races to Ashok’s house to confront him. Baburaj, torn between his duty and his friend’s dangerous rage, pleads for restraint, but the anger proves overwhelming. In the end, Raghavan takes a drastic step and surrenders after the deed is done, leaving the family to grapple with the consequences of revenge.
