What Is The South About?
The premise of The South without spoilers.
After Argentina’s 1983 transition to democracy, Floreal is freed from prison. Rather than reuniting with his wife, he roams the nocturnal streets of Buenos Aires, confronting memories that blur with illusion. He encounters figures from his past—most of them only in his mind—and reflects on the trauma and events of his confinement.
