Race car driver Alan Colby survives a severe head injury from a crash that awakens violent impulses toward his new wife, Denise. Determined to save their marriage, Denise convinces Alan to honeymoon on the French Riviera, where a French psychiatrist proposes a risky regression therapy that will return Alan to the moment of the accident in hopes of curing his murderous rage.

Alan Colby is an English racing driver who, along with his wife Denise, Colby, experienced a traumatic car accident a year prior. While physically they recovered, Alan began to face severe emotional struggles; he suffered from mood swings and increasingly violent tendencies that cast a shadow over their relationship. To escape the stress and turmoil, the couple decided to vacation together on the picturesque Côte D’Azur, hoping a change of scenery might bring some relief.
