My Chemical Romance: The Black Parade Is Dead! (2008): Cast

‘The Black Parade Is Dead!’ records My Chemical Romance’s final show as their theatrical Black Parade characters. The dying Patient relives his life while Death appears as his fondest memory—his father taking him to see a marching band, echoing Gerard Way’s belief that death arrives in the form of one’s cherished recollection. The band dons Black Parade uniforms; during the opening song “The End,” Way discards a hospital gown to reveal the costume.
