What Is Going Big About?
The premise of Going Big without spoilers.
Despite being selected as the second overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft, Sam Bowie's promising career was unfortunately hampered by a series of debilitating injuries. The 7-foot-1 center was initially viewed as a potential franchise player for the Portland Trail Blazers, especially considering he was chosen ahead of Michael Jordan. While possessing considerable talent, Bowie's career was cut short by persistent physical setbacks, preventing him from fully realizing his potential and overshadowing his early draft standing.
