Carla Gugino

Carla Gugino is an accomplished American actress born on August 29, 1971, widely recognized for her roles in both film and television. Her career took off with early roles in Troop Beverly Hills (1989), This Boy's Life (1993), Son in Law (1993), and Snake Eyes (1998). Gugino's fame grew considerably with lead roles in the Spy Kids trilogy (2001–2003), Sin City (2005), Night at the Museum (2006), and more. On the small screen, she starred in the crime drama Karen Sisco (2003), the sci-fi series Threshold (2005–2006), and the supernatural horror miniseries The Haunting of Hill House (2018).

Born in Sarasota, Florida, Gugino had an interesting childhood, living in both Florida and California post her parents' separation. She pursued teenage fashion modelling while being active in her acting classes suggested by her aunt, former Let's Make a Deal spokesmodel Carol Merrill. Gugino’s career in television in the late 1980s to the early '90s was vibrant, with roles in various shows like Good Morning, Miss Bliss, Saved by the Bell, and Who's the Boss?.
