Bruce Campbell
Bruce Lorne Campbell was born on June 22, 1958, in Royal Oak, Michigan. An American actor and filmmaker, he shot into prominence with his role as Ash Williams in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead series. His career spans many low-budget cult films like Crimewave, Maniac Cop, Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat, and Bubba Ho-Tep. Campbell also explored television with main roles is series like The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. and Jack of All Trades, as well as a recurring role in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. He was part of the Burn Notice series from 2007-2013 and returned as Ash for Ash vs. Evil Dead from 2015-2018. He expanded into directing, producing, and featuring in documentaries like Fanalysis and A Community Speaks, and movies like Man with the Screaming Brain and My Name Is Bruce. Campbell often collaborates with Sam Raimi, Ted Raimi, Josh Becker, and Scott Spiegel.
