In a quiet home kitchen, Linda Quiroz plays a woman who is about to prepare Hamburger Helper. As she sets the box on the counter and turns away, the Bruce Campbell’s Helping Hand materializes out of nowhere beside it, waking to life with a crude, unnerving voice. It talks to her and makes a disturbing attempt to molest her. She fights back, trying to drown the Hand in the sink, but it endures—appearing dead for a moment, then spitting water in her face, and slipping away to hide.

While she searches for it, the Milkman, Sam Raimi, arrives with a delivery. He touches her shoulder, and she mistakes him for the Hand, leading to a brutal struggle on the kitchen floor. When he explains where the Hand is hiding, the Hand retaliates by killing the Milkman with a kitchen knife, a chilling act of vengeance for “telling on him.” The woman, determined to end the threat, traps the Hand in a bucket. The Hand screams that it is suffocating and pretends to be dead. As she hunts for a trash bag to dispose of the dead Hand, it escapes again. She catches it and forces it into the blender, ending its life.

With the danger temporarily contained, she returns to her meal prep and opens a can of biscuit dough, only to find the Pillsbury Doughboy waiting on the countertop, seemingly signaling that the nightmare could begin anew.
