Brooke’s most iconic moment arrived in the cult classic The Graduate (1967), where he delivered the memorable line 'Plastics' as Mr. McGuire, the well‑meaning friend of Benjamin Braddock’s parents, cementing his place in American pop culture. Beyond the silver screen, Brooke cultivated a strong television presence, appearing as District Attorney Frank Scanlon on The Green Hornet and taking guest roles on series like The Waltons, Mannix, and The Incredible Hulk.
