Tsutomu Yamazaki (山崎 努) is a distinguished Japanese actor whose career spans more than six decades, beginning with his stage debut after graduating from the Haiyuza Theatre Company and joining Bungakuza in 1959. His first film role arrived in 1960 when director Kihachi Okamoto cast him in Daigaku no sanzôkutachi, marking the start of a prolific presence on both the silver screen and television.
