Patrick John Morrison, better known by his stage name Patrick Wayne, is an American actor born on July 15, 1939 in Los Angeles, California. Being the second son of iconic movie star John Wayne and his first wife, Josephine Alicia Saenz, Patrick Wayne embarked on acting at a very young age. Over his illustrious acting career, he appeared in more than 40 films, including sharing the big screen with his father in 11 different unforgettable roles. As his career grew, he shifted towards television where he hosted the 1980 variety program, The Monte Carlo Show, alongside the 1990 revival of Tic-Tac-Dough.

Patrick made his film debut at 11 years old in his father's film, Rio Grande. After high school, he pursued his education at Loyola Marymount University, from where he graduated in 1961. Besides his active career in film, he served a tour of duty with the United States Coast Guard from 1961 to 1965. His career in sci-fi earned him a significant reputation, particularly following his role in the 1977 film, Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. His spectrum of acting roles was diverse, playing even in popular television series throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In 2003, Patrick Wayne assumed the role of chairman of the John Wayne Cancer Institute.
