Anurag Kashyap: Movies & Box Office

Anurag Kashyap, an Indian film director and actor, has made his mark in Hindi cinema and is recognized for his distinct contributions to the film industry. He's the recipient of four Filmfare Awards and was knighted by the Government of France for his contributions to the art in 2013. Kashyap made his way into cinema as a co-writer for Ram Gopal Varma's crime drama Satya, which sky-rocketed his career. His directorial debut, Paanch, never reached the theatres due to censorship issues. He bounced back with Black Friday, a film based on the 1993 Bombay bombings which faced a two-year release delay.
