Joshua and his boss, Vincent, are on their way to a hospital, both suffering from gunshot wounds and intense pain. As they travel, Joshua’s mind drifts back to a traumatic moment from his childhood when he witnessed his father being shot and killed right in front of him. This flashback sets the tone for the entire story, revealing the deeply rooted violence and emotional scars that influence Joshua’s life.

In the flashback, Joshua and his partner, Mickey, visit individuals who owe money to Vincent. During this visit, they encounter an unstable drug addict who warns them that a minor drug dealer named Frankie Tahoe [played by Noel Gugliemi] wants Vincent dead. Concerned, Joshua and Mickey warn Vincent about the threat. Together, the trio track down Tahoe at a nightclub. During a tense confrontation, Tahoe insults their religious beliefs—something both Joshua and Vincent hold sacred—and as a result, Vincent brutally beats Tahoe to death with a baseball bat. They then dispose of Tahoe’s body by dumping it in a landfill.

During this grim act, Vincent makes a startling confession to Joshua: Mickey’s affair with Vincent’s wife. Enraged by this revelation, Vincent then ruthlessly kills Mickey, after which Joshua is left grappling with the violence that pervades his world.

The story continues with a morning scene where Joshua and Vincent share breakfast. Joshua confesses to his boss that he is tired of the constant violence and intends to retire from their dangerous lifestyle. Vincent, however, responds with a mix of defensiveness and dependence, admitting that he occasionally loses control with violent outbursts but insists that Joshua owes him his life. Vincent then declares that retirement is not an option for him. Soon after, Vincent’s house is besieged by two men who have been sent to deliver him to Nino, a powerful and feared crime boss. When Vincent answers his cellphone during the confrontation, it’s Nino himself, taunting him with harsh words and reminding him of the cost of his actions.

Vincent and Joshua are taken in a car to Nino’s estate. There, Nino confronts Vincent, offering him a selection of expensive restitution options in response to the killing Tahoe. Vincent dismisses every offer, insulting Nino and thus provoking his anger. Nino walks away in insult, leaving Vincent and Joshua to leave as well. Returning home, Vincent discovers that his wife has been brutally murdered, an event that intensifies his descent into despair and rage. In a desperate attempt to buy his way out of trouble, Vincent offers Joshua fifty thousand dollars to leave the city and abandon the criminal life, but Joshua refuses to step away while Nino remains a threat.

As night falls, Joshua and Vincent return to Nino’s house for revenge. Joshua fights his way through Nino’s henchmen in the lower level of the estate, demonstrating resilience and combat skill, while Vincent ascends to face Nino himself. Nino, wearing a bulletproof vest and armed with a sawed-off shotgun, awaits Vincent in a prolonged and deadly showdown. Vincent gets injured but manages to kill Nino, ending his reign of terror.

Meanwhile, Joshua engages in a brutal hand-to-hand fight with one of Nino’s men. Just as the attacker is about to kill Joshua, Vincent intervenes, shooting him. The wounded man, identified by Joshua as the individual responsible for Vincent’s wife’s death, is then murdered by Vincent himself with a knife. As they leave the scene, Nino’s wife appears and opens fire at Joshua and Vincent. Both are shot—Joshua in the stomach and Nino’s wife fatally wounded—yet Joshua manages to stagger away, wounded but alive.

The story then shifts back to the present where Vincent is driving, with Joshua in the back seat. In a pivotal and tense moment of the narrative, Joshua recalls that it was Vincent who murdered his father. Filled with rage and betrayal, Joshua presses a gun to Vincent’s head, contemplating whether to shoot and avenge his past or to uphold a twisted loyalty. Vincent, calm and resigned, warns Joshua that he is too loyal to kill his own boss, and the scene fades to black, leaving the outcome uncertain and unresolved.

Throughout this enthralling tale, themes of violence, loyalty, betrayal, and revenge are explored deeply, painting a vivid picture of a world where moral lines are blurred, and the past continually haunts the present.
