Miguel Ferrer was born on February 7, 1955, in Santa Monica, California, the eldest of five children of celebrated Puerto Rican actor José Ferrer and legendary American singer Rosemary Clooney. Ferrer’s family connections placed him among entertainment royalty: he was a cousin of George Clooney, nephew of journalist Nick Clooney, and brother to actress‑producer Rafael Ferrer.
