A disturbed man engages in a terrifying game of cat and mouse, brutally murdering his victims and stripping away their identities. He meticulously displays the scalps of his victims on vintage mannequins within his childhood home, which he has transformed into a shrine. As the killings escalate, the boundaries between reality and a macabre artistic vision become increasingly blurred, offering a glimpse into his deeply twisted and obsessive psyche.

Shot primarily from the perspective of the protagonist, Frank Zito (Elijah Wood) is a deeply troubled young man grappling with his mental health after the passing of his mother, Angela (America Olivo). Responsible for the family business of mannequin sales, Frank’s childhood memories are tainted by disturbing flashbacks of his mother’s life as a part-time prostitute, which have profoundly affected his ability to forge healthy relationships with women. Haunted by violent impulses often triggered by memories of his mother’s mistreatment, Frank finds himself unable to cope with the pain of his past.
