Uma Maheswara Rao, Satyadev Kancharana is a small-time photographer who shares a simple life with his father Manohar Rao in the Prakash region of Araku, Andhra Pradesh. They run the Bhavana Studio, a modest operation that captures local moments and memories, while right next to it lies a bone-setting shop run by his good friend Babji, Naresh. The shop’s atmosphere hints at a close-knit community where skill and tradition intertwine, and Mahesh’s world is further colored by Korra Suhas, Suhas, who works as Babji’s assistant to learn the craft of bone-setting. In the background, Mahesh’s personal life hums softly—he is in a relationship with Swati, his high-school sweetheart, Hari Chandana—a bond that gives his life a hopeful rhythm amid the small-town routines.

A routine day takes a sharp turn when Babji gets into a petty clash with a village loafer. The exchange seems to cool until Korra Suhas intervenes and strikes the man in defense of Babji. The trouble escalates quickly as Joginath, known as Jogi, Ravindra Vijaya joins in, taking offense at Mahesh’s attempt to de-escalate the situation. A heated confrontation follows, with Jogi breaking through Mahesh’s calm demeanor and leaving him battered. Manohar Rao steps in to separate them, and the moment leaves Mahesh humiliated. He vows to seek revenge, even declaring that he will wear slippers only after he has avenged the humiliation that night.

That brutal incident fractures the young couple’s world. Swati is forced to end their relationship and moves to Canada to marry a nurse there, a decision that cuts deep but also redirects Mahesh’s path. With a stubborn resolve, he learns from Suhas about Jogi’s whereabouts and ends up at a garage where Jogi was said to be employed as a welder. The garage owner reveals that Jogi has left for a better job in Dubai, and Babji’s cautious counsel urges Mahesh to let the matter rest. Yet Mahesh’s anger slowly matures into something else: patience. He signs up for a kung fu course, treating the training as a way to channel his energy and focus his aim.

Meanwhile, Jyothi, a bright but self-conscious college student, comes to Bhavana Studio with a specific request. She wants a cover-ready portrait for a women’s magazine and asks Mahesh to make her look her best. The request unsettles the photographer, whose first attempt at a motionless, studio-esque portrait lands flat. Seeking guidance, he consults his father, Manohar, who explains that photography is an art that thrives on storytelling through angles, light, and movement. Reinvigorated, Mahesh revisits Jyothi’s shoot, this time capturing her in motion and sending a compelling image to the magazine. When Jyothi arrives at his home with the magazine in hand, she initially scolds him for shooting without permission but also admires the final photograph. Slowly, a spark of attraction ignites between them, and they begin to fall in love.

As their relationship deepens, Jyothi reveals an important truth: she is Jogi’s younger sister. The revelation unsettles Mahesh briefly, but love overrides his initial tension, and he chooses to pursue the relationship with Jyothi anyway. In the following weeks, a bitter turn of events for Jogi arrives: he is fired from his job for slapping his manager and is deported back to India. The next day, Mahesh and Babji confront Jogi in a public challenge of hand-to-hand combat. After a tense exchange and a brutal bout, Mahesh manages to pin Jogi, and Babji proclaims him the winner—the crowd watching as two old rivals face each other in a new light.

The story closes with a quiet, hopeful note: Mahesh visits Jogi in the hospital the day after their clash and introduces himself to Jogi’s mother in front of Jyothi, signaling a fragile but genuine truce. He asks Jogi for his blessing to pursue Jyothi, and the final credits hint at a future where Mahesh and Jyothi are together, bound by love and shared resilience.
