The hunt for Malavika leads Akbar to the house of film director Aby Kuruvilla, a man whose past holds clues to Malavika’s story. Aby Kuruvilla is connected to a trove of old letters and diaries, pieces that begin to illuminate a whirlwind romance between Malavika and Ajayachandran, the marriage that followed, and the tensions that eventually reshaped their paths in the industry.
