Pazham, the food-delivery driver whose full name is Thiruchitrambalam, is played by Dhanush. He shares a roof with his strict father, Prakash Raj in the role of Inspector Neelakandan, and his paternal grandfather, also named Thiruchitrambalam, portrayed by Bharathiraja. A tragedy shadows his family life: his mother, portrayed by Revathi, and his sister die in an accident that’s tied to his father’s negligence. This loss hardens Pazham’s relationship with his dad, and he withdraws emotionally, choosing silence over conversation even though they remain under the same roof.
