Mark Twain’s immortal classic follows Prince Edward and Tom Canty, two boys born on the same day—one royalty, one a pauper. As teenagers Tom sneaks into the palace garden, they meet and exchange clothes. Guards mistake the prince for a urchin and exile him. Their attempts to prove their true identities are ignored. When the old king dies, Edward must regain his birthright and the throne.
