What Is The Night of Love About?

Montero, the son of a Gypsy chieftain, is preparing to marry according to his tribe’s ancient rite when the feudal Lord Duke de la Garda asserts his claim to spend a night with the bride at his castle. The bride, refusing the duke’s demand, takes her own life. Enraged, Montero vows revenge.
