Randolph Scott plays Major Ransome Callicut, an undercover agent traveling west by stagecoach. The trip is interrupted when the bandit Vic Sutro tries to rob the coach; Anthony Caruso as Sutro is quickly captured, and Callicut hands him over to Philip Carey as Capt.
