The premise of The Lion Child without spoilers.

In Pama, lioness Sirga and boy Oule, born the same day, are raised as siblings. Sirga teaches Oule to speak to trees, beasts, bees and wind. Drawing on lion strength, Oule reunites with Sirga and, with Lena, rebuilds Pama.
