What Is The Laughing Woman About?
The premise of The Laughing Woman without spoilers.
Maria, a beautiful public‑relations executive, becomes a captive in the isolated residence of the disturbed Dr. Sayer. There she endures a succession of increasingly bizarre, terrifying and degrading sexual games. Sayer confesses he has murdered several women after the same ritual, killing them at the moment of orgasm. As the story unfolds, shocking twists overturn the entire premise, revealing that nothing is as it appears.
