What Is Escalation About?
The premise of Escalation without spoilers.
In 1968 London, carefree Luca spends his ‘swinging’ youth defying his father’s expectations. Determined his son should run the family firm, the father arranges Luca’s kidnapping to a sanitarium, where electro‑shock therapy normalizes him. Afterwards he is forced to marry a woman who is actually a psychiatrist hired to shape him into the businessman.
