Bharathi, a respected medical college professor, manages a bustling home that includes her elder daughter-in-law, her daughter, and an adopted daughter. Her elder son sacrificed his life in service, while her younger son serves as a captain in the Indian Army. When wedding preparations for her daughter begin, she calls in her son, Ajay Krishna, a Major in the Para SF, to coordinate the family arrangements.

On a rescue mission that goes wrong, Ajay Krishna is severely injured. General Murali Sharma dispatches Ajay Krishna and his colleague to deliver the heartbreaking news to Ajay’s family after the wedding, so the celebrations can proceed without distraction. The mission takes them aboard a train headed toward Kurnool, where they encounter Samskruthi, a comic and irritating girl who quickly becomes smitten with Ajay Krishna. She pursues him in lively, exuberant ways, determined to catch his attention, though he remains focused on his duty. Their unusual chemistry adds a new, lighthearted tension to the already tense situation, and Samskruthi’s antics introduce a human warmth into a story driven by danger and duty.

When Ajay Krishna and Captain Prasad reach Kurnool, they discover Bharathi’s house is empty; she and her family have gone into hiding to escape from MLA Nagendra Reddy. Nagendra’s men confront them, threatening violence, but Ajay Krishna arrives to stand between them and the family, delivering a stern warning that he will deal with Nagendra using the law and the truth as his weapons. The looming conflict becomes personal as Bharathi reveals to Ajay Krishna that she had filed a case against Nagendra for orchestrating the murder of her cousin, a crime masked as suicide. Nagendra’s pressure leads to Bharathi’s suspension from the college on charges of leaking an exam paper, and her daughter’s marriage is called off. The course of the wedding is redirected as Ajay Krishna, together with Bharathi, vows to gather irrefutable evidence and force Nagendra to answer for his abuses of power.

Back at the center of the storm, Ajay Krishna devises a plan to salvage the marriage by convincing the in-laws to proceed with the same groom, now under tighter scrutiny and with the couple’s future secured by justice in the air. In parallel, Ajay Krishna rescues government officer Ramakrishna from a band of goons hiding in a forest, and Ramakrishna later reveals a broader web of corruption: Nagendra has been involved in a systemic scam, aided by a bank officer who is Bharathi’s cousin and a techie who works at Nagendra Technologies, a company founded by Nagendra to execute his schemes. The threads of the conspiracy tighten as Nagendra learns of the investigation and has the bank officer and the techie killed while Ramakrishna is kept captive in the forest. Ajay Krishna confronts Nagendra’s party members, laying out the scope of the corruption that stretches across politicians and bureaucrats, and warns them that protecting Nagendra is both dangerous and futile. Eventually, the party expels Nagendra from leadership, signaling a turning point in the battle against entrenched corruption.

With the threat receding, Bharathi’s daughter’s marriage proceeds and takes place even as Ajay is presumed dead. Ajay informs the family after the wedding, and after performing his last rites alongside Prasad, he and the team decide to return to Kashmir. In a moment of personal clarity, Ajay chooses to accept Samskruthi’s proposal, signaling a new beginning beyond the battlefield. Despite all the evidence that has been gathered, Ajay spares Nagendra from jail for the moment, fearing he might exploit sympathy to escape prison and resume his crooked life. Instead, Ajay declares that Nagendra will be appointed to the Indian Army, a symbolic decision intended to instill discipline and honesty. Three months later, Nagendra appears reformed and committed to a principled life, and Ajay remains by his side as Samskruthi becomes his wife, marking a quiet, hopeful denouement to a story of duty, reform, and redemption.
