The attacker reveals himself as Kabir, a scientist and former friend to Freddy and Rocky. In flashbacks, Kabir’s project is laid bare: a cloning program that could produce replicas of Freddy and Rocky, programmed with orders to win wars without risking their lives. When Kabir champions the project as a tool to conquer the world, Azad promptly blocks it on ethical grounds. Kabir responds by turning to India’s enemies, selling the invention and severing ties with the people who once trusted him. Priya’s testimony exposes the plan, and Freddy and Rocky are ordered to capture Kabir alive, only to kill him in the heat of battle and face a court-martial; the fallout strains Freddy’s relationship with Priya and exposes fractures within the team.

In the present, Kabir claims he survived because the person who died was actually his clone, Eklavya, whose death left Kabir hungry for vengeance.
