In Bangalore, Slum Shetty maintains a tight grip on the city’s underworld, wielding power alongside the aging BBMP corporator Indra and the ruthless Juttu Seena. When Shetty learns that Thyagaraja Ramanna is smuggling illegal arms from Mangalore Port for Salaga, a criminal who remains operating from behind bars, he wastes no time sending Suri Anna to deal with the threat. The moment Salaga learns of Ramanna’s attack, he counters by hiring a cold-blooded gang known as the Batsman Boys and orchestrates a killing at a bar, taking Suri’s life in a blaze of calculated violence.

Suri Anna’s death ignites a furious resolve in his brother Kenda, who swears to wipe Salaga from the streets. The three men—Shetty, Indra, and Seena—join Kenda in a bid to take Salaga down, but Salaga proves elusive. He escapes an attempted hit, and in a brutal turn of events, he turns the tables on Kenda with the help of the Batsman Boys, leaving the brother’s vengeance unfulfilled. The story widens when Salaga’s childhood girlfriend Sanjana Anand reappears, pursuing him to win his love, only to face his stern refusal. After a persistent push, Salaga finally relents, adding a personal, tragic layer to his increasingly tangled life.

With crime rates rising, the city’s authorities respond by appointing ACP Samrat to dismantle the underworld’s grip on the metropolis. Salaga continues to maneuver through markets and backstreets, and in a decisive encounter, he tracks Seena at the market and kills him, aided by the Batsman Boys. The manhunt intensifies when Savithri lends crucial help to Samrat, allowing him to locate and eliminate the Batsman Boys in a climactic pursuit across the city.

The death of Seena shakes Slum Shetty’s hold on his own gang and threatens his family, prompting a road accident that lands him in a hospital. Salaga arrives at the hospital, removes his rival, and then vanishes with Sanjana, only to surrender later at the court. In a tense courtroom confrontation, Samrat interrogates Salaga, who reveals his real name as Vijay Kumar, and begins to unpack his hidden past.

Past and present fuse as Vijay Kumar’s origins unfold. He comes from Uttar Karnataka and travels to Bangalore with his headmaster father and mother to pursue education. The family learns that their village people have already found labor in the city, while Vijay’s father tries to uplift and educate their children. This effort draws the ire of Indra, Slum Shetty, Seena, and SI Ashwath, who spread cynical messages about their supposed benevolence. A pivotal moment comes when Vijay thwarts Naga’s harassment of Kavya, an act that sparks a harsh reaction from the city’s power players. Vijay is arrested by Ashwath on charges of Naga’s killing, and his parents’ humiliation spurs them to take their own lives, leaving Vijay devastated and alone.

Vijay is sent to a remand home, where he learns the grim truth: Naga’s death was carried out by Slum Shetty, Seena, and Indra at Ashwath’s behest, who suspects Vijay to be Kavya’s boyfriend and wishes to weaponize the truth to scar Vijay’s family. After his release, Vijay turns his rage outward, killing Ashwath, only to be arrested again and sent back to prison. The revelations about his past reshape the lens through which Samrat views Salaga and the city’s violence, even as Salaga’s fate remains haunted by the cycles of vendetta and survival that propelled him forward.

In the end, Salaga’s surrender crowns a grim arc of revelation and revenge. After his confessions and the court’s scrutiny, he avoids additional charges due to a lack of decisive evidence. The pursuit culminates with Salaga avenging the deaths that shaped his childhood by striking at Indra at a temple festival and eliminating him, a brutal reminder that the past cannot easily be left behind. Salaga then turns himself in and is taken away to continue serving a sentence that mirrors the city’s unending struggle with crime, loyalty, and the cost of vengeance.
