Shiva/Sundaram, Prasanna, is introduced as someone who doesn’t come across as the sharpest tool in the shed, yet he possesses a stubborn persistence. He is on a quest to find David Raj, a figure connected to the earlier bank caper. Early on, Shiva saves a girl from being molested by one of Raj’s henchmen, which brings him briefly into Priya’s orbit. Priya, played by Kavya Madhavan, works at a TV station and helps an elderly woman, weaving human warmth into the film’s otherwise reckless energy. In a comic misstep, Shiva’s claim about getting “stuff” from David collides with David’s plan, as David, suspecting Moorthy to be a fool, sends 1 crore rupees worth of heroin to a designated address, intending to flush out Sundaram by police scrutiny. The ruse backfires in a comical twist when Sundaram heads in the wrong direction, intersecting Priya’s world and inadvertently triggering a police misdirection of another man wearing the same clothes and carrying a similar briefcase.

Sundaram’s path crosses with his friend Vellai, a character brought to life by Karunas. At Vellai’s place, the pair discover a package that they initially mistake for toothpaste powder, only to realize it contains real drug money. The moneylender and his assistant, who had loaned him the cash, become entangled in the law when the package’s contents are revealed, and the scene ends with the police catching them in the act of drug dealing.

The next day, Shiva contacts the TV station where Priya works and makes a startling confession: he is the brother of Ram Mohan, a man who had vanished from his life decades earlier, and he insists that Moorthy must call him or he will leap to his death. Priya’s sense of duty pushes her to involve the police, who eventually locate Shiva. It’s revealed that Shiva is not simply a misfit; there are deeper connections at play. In time, Priya begins to warm to him, but Shiva warns that she cannot fall for him, sensing a dangerous tangle of loyalties and lies.

Meanwhile, Ram Mohan and Priya share a complicated friendship, and Ram Mohan plans to take Priya to the United States in a few days. Shiva’s presence threatens that plan, and Priya contemplates joining him instead. As the plot thickens, Priya discovers discrepancies that cast doubt on Shiva’s identity and pushes him away. In a late turn, Shiva threatens suicide by fire, prompting Ram Mohan to reappear from the US, prompting a tense moment where Priya pleads for his intervention. The drama crescendos as Priya’s trust wavers and the man she loves seems to be slipping away.

What follows blurs the lines between life and fate: Ram Mohan deduces a deeper truth about Shiva, tracing him to be Sundaramoorthy, an IIT dropout, while the person she had assumed to be Moorthy turns out to be Ram Mohan’s own brother—another layer of deception that binds the fates of all involved. The emotional toll is devastating: Priya’s father, who was the bank’s manager in the opening sequence, is revealed to have been killed—a revelation that washes over Moorthy’s world with horror, and a chain reaction tears at the family’s stability. Moorthy’s mother dies of shock upon learning the truth, underscoring the film’s corroding impact of vengeance and guilt.

A doctor [Thalaivasal Vijay] appears when Priya seeks medical support to stabilize the wounded Moorthy, and the tension escalates into a final showdown. Ram Mohan uses every tactic to manipulate Priya, even as Moorthy acts to shield her. The climactic confrontation pits two brothers against a man who has become an unwitting pawn in a larger conspiracy. Moorthy’s sister, the very college student who perished at the outset, becomes the moral touchstone for his actions. In a brutal culmination, Moorthy defeats Ram Mohan by throwing him off a building, ending his reign of manipulation, and he rides away with Priya, driven by a desire to protect the memory of his sister and to start anew with the woman he loves.

In the end, the film blends kinetic thriller elements with a family tragedy that unravels through a series of revelations. The characters’ intertwined fates—the minister’s imposed power, the university-bound victims, the street-smart hustlers, and the shadowy figures behind the heist—come to a head in a multi-layered narrative about trust, betrayal, and the often-painful cost of vengeance.
