What Is Tenzing About?
The premise of Tenzing without spoilers.
Based on true events, Tenzing follows Himalayan climber Tenzing Norgay, who with Edmund Hillary became the first to summit Mount Everest. Urged by his wife Dawa, he finds an ally in expedition secretary Jill Henderson and persuades Colonel John Hunt to place him on the British team. While Westerners view Everest as conquest, Tenzing reveres Chomolungma, turning the climb into a clash of cultures that ends in mutual respect.
